関西英語道場恒例の時事問題に関するディスカッションです。今回は2つのトピックを用意いたしました。

Licking scandals at conveyer-belt sushi restaurants
(Ref.) Popular conveyor belt sushi chains in Japan are now taking action against people who have filmed videos of themselves ruining other diners’ meals to post on social media.
Questions:
1. What was your first impression when you heard the news?
2. Why do they post these videos on SNSs? Tell us your opinion about “some” SNS.
3. Sushi terrorists should be severely punished by law. Agree or not?
4. How do sushi restaurants protect their facilities and customers against such an inconvenience?
5. Some younger Japanese are immature or childish or idiots. Agree or not?
Or, in other words, what makes them do such an unbelievable thing?

(Ref.) The Japanese government says wearing a face mask at the graduation ceremony is up to you. (not limited to these ceremonies if you like)
Questions:
1. Do you agree with the government’s decision?
2. One girl said: “I am somewhat embarrassed to have my face seen. I want to wear it if possible.” What do you think of her saying?
3. No more masks because Covid-19 is downgrading the classification of the coronavirus disease. Agree or not.
