Social English: Language of Everyday Communication

Overview/概要

 2016年1月13日（水）スタート！毎週水曜日19時30分から全9回にわたり、モニカ講師による『Social English: Language of Everyday Communication』を開催いたします。

本コースの目標は、Social English（社交の英語力）を習得することです。英会話をするときに、話があまり盛り上がらない・何をしゃべっていいのか分からずに黙ってしまう・気のきいた一言がでてこない・会話のバリエーションが少なく毎回同じフレーズを使ってしまう、なんてことはありませんか？それは、あなたが「社交ベタな英語」から抜け出せていないからかもしれません！

授業では、自己紹介・挨拶・小話・提案・意見・ディベートなど、実生活で出くわす頻度の高い社会的状況を想定して、各場面で使えるSocial Englishを勉強します。外国人のように、自信を持って、楽しく、流暢で気のきいた英語が話せるようにトレーニングをして、「社交ベタな英語」を卒業しましょう！

もっと上手に英語を話したい、英語でなかなか会話が続けられない、外国人のように気のきいた英語を話してみたい方などに勧めのコースです。皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。（詳細は下記をご覧ください）

Course Summary

The course shall focus on enhancing your communication/speaking skills in order to converse with people in various social settings. This course shall give you much greater confidence when engaging in fun, worthwhile, and fulfilling conversations as well as discussions with people.

 
Syllabus

Lesson 1: Self-introduction/student introductions; Course outline discussion (What is Social English?)

Lesson 2: Meeting and greeting people (phrases/situations + improvisation)

Lesson 3: Meeting and greeting people (cultural differences + debate)

Lesson 4: Engaging in small talk (tips on making small talk + starting and ending
conversations)

Lesson 5: Engaging in small talk (meeting people/meeting people again + improvisation)

Lesson 6: Making suggestions, requests, offers

Lesson 7: Expressing probability and possibility

Lesson 8: Giving opinions (agreement, disagreement, partial agreement +
improvisation)

Lesson 9: Conversation fillers

Level: Low-intermediate and above

Lesson Fee: 24,300yen(tax included)

レベルに関して不安がある方は、当校までお問い合わせください。

受講規定について

• クラス開講人数に満たない場合は、中止または延期となる場合がございます。その際は、当校から参加者の皆様へご連絡をいたします。

• 担当講師の病気や、大雪・台風などの悪天候による交通事情のトラブルなど、やむを得ぬ事情で担当講師が授業を行えない場合は、休講・代講（代理講師による授業）・補講（別日を指定しての授業）となります。

• 一旦納入された授業料は原則として返金できません。但し、当校の事情により授業を行うことができない場合は、授業料全額もしくはその一部を返金いたします。
