今年もAgile Tour Osakaを開催します。Agile Tourは10月〜12月に世界中の都市でアジャイル開発のイベントを開催するという世界的イベントです。日本では2010年からAgile Tour Osakaを開催しており今年で10回目の開催となります。この数年間、XPやScrumなどのアジャイル開発方法論と関係が深いパタンランゲージを取り上げてきた縁で、今回はパターン・ランゲージの国際カンファレンスであるAsian PLoPと連携してminiPLoPを同時開催することになりました。ゲストスピーカーとしてKyon_mmさん、早稲田大学の鷲崎先生、PLoPを主催するHillside GroupよりJoseph Yoderさんにお話しいただきます。アジャイルとパターンについて1日じっくりと考えてみませんか？

11:00〜12:00	@kyon_mmさん「ソフトウェアシステム設計におけるアレグザンダー理論の活用。数理的システム設計手法の提案。 -15の幾何学的特性とパタンランゲージ-」技術や市場の変化が激しい状況におけるシステム開発の低コスト化は重要なトピックです。※1 アジャイル開発や、クラウド技術によってこれらに立ち向かうことが増えてきましたが、まだシステム全体としてこの状況を乗りこなしていくような手法の提案は数が少ないです。本セッションでは、クリストファーアレグザンダーが提唱している「15の幾何学的特性」を活用したシステム設計手法を提案します。機能に縛られないシステムの設計を促進し、技術や市場の変化に強いシステム設計の入口をつくります。 ※1 2025年の崖、デジタルトランスフォーメーション、VUCAなど将来の不透明さ、デジタル技術の活用、それらの負債化などがトピックとしてあげられるようになってきました。

Title: The Power of Patterns and Pattern Languages

Description:
Patterns and Pattern Languages are ways to describe proven practices, good designs, and capture experience in a way that it is possible for others to reuse this experience. Pattern Languages help create a shared language for communicating insights and experiences describing these solutions and their relationships, thus helping to successfully capture the body of knowledge which defines our understanding about these proven practices and design. I will present an overview of patterns and pattern languages showing the power of patterns in various domains. This will be followed by an open dialog/discussion/exercises based upon questions/interests brought up by attendees.

BIO:
Joseph (Joe) Yoder is president of the Hillside Group and principle of The Refactory. He is best known as an author of the Big Ball of Mud pattern, illuminating fallacies in software architecture. Joe teaches and mentors developers on agile and lean practices, architecture, flexible systems, clean design, patterns, refactoring, and testing. Joe has presented many tutorials and talks, arranged workshops, given keynotes, and help organized leading international agile and technical conferences.
